Cedarburg Light & Water reads meters at the end of each month. For a few customers, that means we are sending out a meter reader to manually read electric and water meters. For most customers, we have switched over to our advanced metering technology, which allows us to read meters remotely.
Beginning in November 2020, all customers will be billed on the same day. Each month, bills will be sent out around the 7th and will be due around the 27th; dates will vary slightly due to weekends and holidays. Due dates are at least 20 days from the date the bills are issued.
Over the next few months, you may experience longer periods of service reflected on your monthly bills, but by no more than five additional days per bill. By the end of February, all meters will be read on the last day of every month and service periods will be the same for all customers. For more information, click here.
