Cross Connection Control Program

Icon_Water-Safety-circle - Cross-Connection Control Program | Backflow Prevention - HydroCorpA cross connection is a direct or a potential arrangement of drinking water piping that is or can be connected to a questionable source. An example is the common garden hose attached to an outside tap, with the end of the garden hose submerged into a bucket of detergent. Examples of commercial cross connections may be found on carbonated beverage equipment, boilers and process equipment.

In order to maintain a safe and dependable drinking water supply, we ask that all our customers help us protect our drinking water supply by participating in the Cross Connection Control Program.

Thank you for allowing Cedarburg Light & Water Utility to continue to provide your family with clean and safe drinking water.

If you have any questions about the program or any concerns, please contact Tim Martin, Water Utility Superintendent, at (262) 375-7650.
